Autumn coming

Had such a lovely couple of days with my daughter and granddaughters.  The girls are aged 2 and 4 and huge bundles of inexhaustible energy.  We had lots of fun in the garden, finding snail shells, sometimes with snail intact.  Why do they always want to touch the squishy bit? Yeuk.  They took an old walking stick and completely cleared the garden of cobwebs, another of my pet hates, can't stand being near spiders or webs.

Here they are in action:-)

They were very intrigued with the grass seed and I have to give them regular updates now as to how it's getting on.  In Spain they get huge paella parties, water parks, swimming, boats, fishing and caves.  They come to me and they get to watch grass grow!  Lets hope for a sunny September and lots more garden fun before winter sets in.

I love autumn, and here's a photo of the end of summer, with the buddleia and beginning of autumn with the berries coming out on the pyracantha and the virginia creeper still green but promising to be a beautiful show of reds and golds in the very near future.

Great days!!
